Governance
The UK Public Health Register is a charitable company (1162985 in England and Wales; SC045877 in Scotland). It is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
UKPHR is overseen by a Board of Directors. The Board oversees the work of the Chief Executive, the Registrar and their team, and receives reports from three committees:
- The Registration Approvals Committee, chaired by the Registrar.
- The Education and Standards Committee, chaired by Board Director Helen King
- The Audit, Risk and Remuneration Committee, chaired by Board Director Duncan Vernon
Membership of these Committees include other Board members and lay members.
