UKPHR invites applications for the post of Chief Executive

Readvertisement to seek a wider range of applicants

Chief Executive David Kidney is retiring and we are looking for his successor. We want someone who is willing to be innovative in delivering on UKPHR’s ambition for a large, diverse and multidisciplinary public health workforce.

We operate an accredited public register for the dual purposes of public protection and improving public health practice. We protect the public by assuring the competence of all registrants, publishing a register and acting on concerns about conduct and professional competence. We promote improvement in practice by requiring registrants to maintain and enhance their competence after registration through CPD and revalidation.

The Chief Executive we seek is someone who will lead our organisation and champion our register and registrants with verve and vision. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, self-disciplined, calm under pressure and capable of organising your thoughts and your time over policy development, strategic leadership and people management.

If you are interested, you are welcome to contact us for an informal discussion about the role and you can apply for this post at any time up to noon on 30 November 2020.

For the full advert, job description, person specification and application form please visit our jobs page.
