UKPHR announces appointment of a new Chief Executive

 

The UKPHR Board is delighted to announce that Jessica Lichtenstein will be the new Chief Executive of the UK Public Health Register. Starting a 12 month secondment in October, Jessica will replace Marcial Boo who is moving to the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Jessica has a long track record in health regulation, most recently as assistant director at the General Medical Council (GMC). Jessica is a part of the GMC’s senior leadership team, is an equality and diversity champion, has published work and advises others on health education.
