How to apply for practitioner registration

There are currently two routes to gaining practitioner registration with UKPHR.

Retrospective portfolio route

Applicants are eligible to apply for UKPHR practitioner registration after the completion of a retrospective portfolio. Individuals wishing to apply need to go through a quality assured local assessment scheme and undergo a rigorous process of assessment and verification by trained public health professionals.

Public health practitioner apprenticeship route

Applicants are eligible to apply to UKPHR after the successful completion of the Public Health Practitioner apprenticeship including an End Point Assessment.
