FTP Panel and Hearings guidance
Where an investigation concludes that there is a case to answer, the matter is referred to a Fitness to Practise Panel hearing. This guidance explains how the panel is made up, how hearings are conducted, and how decisions are reached.
The Panel will consider the facts, decide whether they amount to grounds for a finding of impairment, and, where impairment is found, determine what sanction, if any, should follow.
