Joanna Dowd

Joanna Dowd joined the UKPHR in November 2019 as a lay member. She has a M.Phil from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD from Queen’s University, Belfast. Since graduating, she has worked in the areas of social inclusion, food poverty, health inequalities and climate change across the island of Ireland. More recently, she has undertaken freelance work on carrying out evaluations, research reports and literature reviews for local government and NGOs in Northern Ireland.
