UKPHR update on practitioner revalidation
Following the Board’s decision to make changes to its approved revalidation scheme for practitioner registrants, a consultation was circulated and responses were received by our registrants on the requirement of peer discussion.
I am pleased to say the Board has considered the responses to the consultation and has approved the requirement of one peer discussion in a 5-year registration cycle.
The next steps will be to pilot the peer discussion and to make any further changes following the completion of the pilot stage. UKPHR will then be working towards developing an IT module to enable practitioner registrants to complete the revalidation process online.
If you have any questions regarding any aspect of the revalidation scheme for practitioners, please do not hesitate to contact us at register@ukphr.org
