When can someone make an appeal to UKPHR?
UKPHR’s Appeal Rules or Review Policy (practitioners) apply for the following situations:
- A Registrant wishes to challenge a decision made by UKPHR under the Fitness to Practise Rules
- Applicant wishes to challenge a refusal of admission or restoration to the Register
- Applicant wishes to challenge the rejection of their Specialist portfolio after assessment
- A public health practitioner who is part of a local UKPHR practitioner registration scheme wishes to request a review of the verification panel to not recommend them for admission to the Register of the UKPHR.
